Laura Lopata has been an executive coach and strategist since 1988. She has been a trusted business advisor and
consultant to C-Suite and senior executives in financial services, professional services, healthcare and the arts. Her
clients include: Deloitte, Johnson & Johnson, Booz &Co. (Strategy&), Credit Suisse, JPMorganChase, University of
Maryland Medical System, Citibank, Bayer, WPP, American Petroleum Institute, PepsiCo, and Blue Man Group.
Through her clients Ms. Lopata has had the privilege of being exposed to many different industries and
organizational structures. The knowledge gleaned from those experiences enables her clients and their
organizations to move forward. Aside from her corporate work, her counsel is sought privately by executives,
business owners, heads of non-profits and community leaders. She has served on several non-profit boards.
Laura Lopata has been on the faculty of New York University's Management Institute, and has taught at the
Brown University/Trinity Consortium, and the Women's Campaign School at Yale. She is an advisor for Sylvia
Ann Hewlett's Center for Talent Innovation (Coqual) on their Executive Presence Initiative and was featured in
their publication of the same. She has been quoted in The New York Times, The Times of London, Investor's
Business Daily, World Journal, Crain's New York Business, and The New York Daily News. She has been named
twice to Quest Magazine's "Essentials" list.
Ms. Lopata received her B.A. from Fordham University. Her M.A., was completed at Columbia University and
Rhode Island College in Theater and Communications. She is also a graduate of Trinity Rep Conservatory.
